Dutch ‘Oase’ armchair

A newly upholstered black ‘Oase’ armchair by Dutch designer Wim Rietveld for Ahrend De Cirkel, from the 1950s. It has bakelite armrests with a metal frame which tucks into the charcoal cotton fabric and holds the cushions firmly in place. In good vintage condition.
